bait

What is the best size mackerel to use. I have been getting bait in the la jolla kelp between 4 to 6 inches is that good size to fish?

green and brown macs the size of a snickers bar all the way up to the size of a king size snickers....gotta go eat some lunch.

exactly. What dan said. You'd be surprised how big a mac a yt or wsb will eat. 4" to 12" macs seem to work. Most people still prefer the candy bar sized ones.
