Jim, those pics don't get old. When it comes to eating, I'll take those crawdads over trout any day. I'm certain you'll find the honey hole soon and land some big ones. I really like that lure you're using in that trout's mouth

More Dads?

There were some big boys in the mix with these beautiful blue markings.
One last soak to bring a bunch back to PV for a big neighborhood Boil.

Great Season

So sad to see another Great Eastern Sierra season come to an end for me.
2 challenging weeks of weather and snow in May at Silver and Mammoth with some great fishing, then a quiet 2 weeks in June with more great fishing at Silver lake.
In July we got into Trumbull campground the day it opened and the snow had melted enough, fishing at Virginia lake produced lots of 2lbs to 5+ rainbows and lots of brookies at Trumbull lake for two weeks.
And finally these last two weeks at Silver again.
What a fantastic season with all its water and weather challenges.

It really was a special season with all that water and snow. It's great to be able to fish for trout and have a snowball fight in the same day, while wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I hope we have another great snow season
