Be patient, don't over stress your gear or yourself. Let this fish play a little and then put it to him when he gives you the opportunity. Patience is the key on the kayak. You are not fighting elbow to elbow with other anglers so no need to horse them in. Give it time and enjoy the ride.
X 2 but this does not mean you should ever have slack in the like. Always keep pressure on the line so the hook or jig doesn't have an opportunity to invert and unhook. Once the fish is done screwing around as said above is your turn
