WOW

Looks like a full house, is anyone besides Stevie951 going to meet me at Johnnys? Guys you need to team up with someone on the list to do dinner for a night. Otherwise we will wind up with too much food and some will be waisted. Thanks and remember I am out of towm starting 29th until the 13th. Tight Lines.

I've been having the same thought about an evening meal. I like cooking if there's someone who'd like to, also, message me, please.
Bob, not sure where I'll hook up, but I'll know by the time you come back. It will either be there or in Calexico.

I can team up for a dinner the night of the 27th or 28th - the days I know I can be there. When I arrive and leave will be up to my work testing schedule which I will not know until the week of, maybe the week before if I'm lucky.

Side note, any of you guys have luck in the past paying for cheap liability insurance online anywhere? How much am i looking at? Looking to get it done nice and easy, or am I better off calling my Insurance? Was Checking out Bajabound.com looks like they do it 3rd party, can do the 7 days for 35 bucks under standard coverage through an, "Ace Seguros." Does this sound legit?

Cheers,

Stevie

This is what I use.

Baja Bound Insurance Services co.

ACE Segurous

888-552-2252

I paid $76.00 for April 2nd-April 10

Never had to put a claim yet (thank god), so I cannot say anything about the service.

If you have Sentri card, you are required to get insurance is what I understand. American insurance companies are not acceptable.

I will be doing ribs on the 30th at the restaurant.

Who will be meeting me at Johnnys Shell station in El Cajon on the 24th? And who will be meeting at tha AM/PM in Calexico?

I expect to be at Johnnys at 4 am and plan to leave there at 5am and head to the AM/PM arriving there at 7am. Then on to Los Poblanos taco shop in San Filipe arriving there about 9-9:30 for breakfast. Then on into camp.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO PLAN A SEAFOOD DINNER NIGHT. If no one wants to do it then the 30th will be seafood instead of ribs.

Cheap knockoff crocs

https://www.amazon.com/1oz-Crocodile...ZuckLJi8jUzEVA

Hi guys,

I just ordered this off of Amazon specifically to take down to MakoBob's place n fish. 12 knockoff crocs for $20. Thought Id pass it along as these are known to work in Baja.
A few reviews say they rust easier in the salt so just make sure to rinse down w freshwater after each use and u should be good. Tight lines. Link above.

It is worth your time AND money to change out the split rings and hooks.

Gentlemen unfortunately do to health reasons I will not be making this trip. I will make it down there some time this year Bob. Might have to be in the middle of the HOT summer, but I will eventually make it down there SOON.
This is the 3rd trip I have missed. Good luck to everyone and leave some fish for me. Tight Lines

Westfork and I were actually discussing doing a seafood paella since I just got a paella pan and burner - but the shear number of people we have on this trip killed that idea, I'd need a paella pan 3 feet across to feed the numbers...
