Irvine Lake .....1/29/13

Went to Irvine lake first time this year
Water is clear and looks like trout is hungry bite anything
Trolling, mini jig , bait.....
I got easy limit within 2 hours
After that I just catch and release kind of fishing
I caught 8-9LB trout while trolling rapala CD4 fire-tiger, took me 5 min to land
Post picture of trout and bass I caught

Very nice trout and winter bass! I was at Jennings last weekend and the bass were biting, deep water, caught at least 20 on worms - spoons and ice jigs at 40-60' deep, from 1 lb to 3 lbs.

Could be a great year for bass this spring.
