Newbie for Monday or Tuesday La Jolla - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Hi All,
My name is Sam. I’m new to kayak fishing and this is my first post. I recently purchased a 2015 Hobie outback, fish finder and a bait tank. I’ve fished La Jolla once targeting Calicos. I caught several bass with one being legal size. It was a lot of fun. With your help, I would like to venture father out and try for yellowtails. I noticed that magicseaweed.com indicate waves to be 1 ft. or less on Monday and Tuesday at the Shores. If anyone is going out on those dates (10th or 11th) and looking for a fishing companion, please let me know.

I’d like to thank the people on this board that share their techniques and stories as I have learned many aspects of kayaking fishing!

I live in pq as well. Going offshore Monday but tomorrow I'm heading out of marine street in la jolla. You're welcome to tag along.
