Maiden voyage in Mission Bay

Well went out yesturday and broke in the new yak. I just tooled around mission bay. I need some help on my jigging skills...lol
Caught all fish on squid. I ended the day with 3 bass and 5 lizards. 2 of the bass were just under 14. Look forward to more days on the water.

Welcome to the addiction, it gets worse

Tuesday was about my 100th trip in my 2 years of kayak fishing ..... I try to get out at least once a week.

Glad you made it out and caught some fish on your first time out. By jigging, I assume you mean plastics. They just take practice and confidence. The first part is easy enough to understand, the second not so much. I don't know why confidence plays a part, but it does. It comes with practice too though.
