Thanks for the feedback everyone, it is much appreciated. I'll try it out next time I catch a mac and see what happens. I got a taste of the boaters not caring about "personal space" first hand already. I just had to sit tight and let the PB pass by as the Navy Veterans had their lines out and I couldn't pass through without playing chicken with the PB. Not my idea of fun, but it all worked out. As I stated before, I'll keep posting updates when I go out. I can't promise anything exciting, but I can promise more updates.

In the bay it would be better to fish a mack on the bottom than on a fly line. There just weren't many top and mid water predictors big enough to eat a bait that big.
