MLPA Rejected in Legal Review

This just in! The Log Newsletter has reported that the State's Office of Administrative Law has rejected the South Coast MLPA. I am not sure if this is a win or just a delay but it appears to be good news.

You can read the entire article here.

I do believe this (mlpa) is a federally mandated program. It will never go away! Maybe delayed but here to stay..... You can thank liberal Clinton for this.

Two separate cluster flucks. MLPA is state generated and run in state waters (up to 3 miles off shore). The Federal government is also doing something different beyond state waters as well as some great lakes stuff. The good news is that sportsmen are well represented in the federal government.

In any case the courts are going to have their say on this one before anything is final, regardless of the new Jan 1 start date announced by the Fish and Game Commission today.

^You got it! That's truly our only hope. It's a good one. 3-0 so far in court.
