When I was a kid and scuba diving in Florida, we heard of divers being eaten by very large Jewfish, which is what Goliath grouper were called back then. Those things were known to get up to 2000lbs and sit in caves waiting for anything to swim by. There were several cases of divers disappearing.

oh my god, if ppl go diving near groupers, they should bring a lot of black pepper so they could sneeze you back out...
