O.K. Paul, at least give us a few details like time, gps coordinates, bait used, what kind of setup and any other secrets to your success. WTG on another fine catch. Gary

Maybe some one could teach

Maybe some one could teach me how to catch a white sea bass.
Tyler and Corry seem to have it down.
I was doing some thumping like Adi said. Got 4 greenbacks
on one drop. 3 go in the tank 1 goes to the bottom.
Third bump and the line starts flying off. I'm in deep water
and the fish is headed to deeper water. 30 minutets into
the fight the fish surfaces 30 yards ahead of me. I could'nt
see what it was. Then it takes off across the surface.
Now I'm thinking threaser. At the end of this run, it headed
down about 50 ft. It became a tug of war. Big head shakes.
Feels like a yellow. At color the fish calms down and I gently
bring it along side. Took my time at gaff and brought it on board.
Then the hook falls out of the mouth.
Dumb luck
Right place right time
When Adi talked me into singing up for the WCW I worried about
. Now thats over, I sure would love to catch and eat a White
Sea Bass.

Nice fish, especially for the summer. You don't seem to need any help. Full days OTW will teach more than any BBS.

Nice payoff!

Man I wish I had a fresh one for the grill or a SUSHI party. Anyway, I'm headed out this weekend for some albies. Congradulations on the YT.
