Tidelands 6/12

Was on the water at about 5:45 with an extreme low tide. I went right to the moored boats and quickly found some willing spotties that went after a paddlerZ on a jighead slowly retrieved on the bottom. Landed two but lost several others to spit hooks. The wind died around 8 and the spotties stopped biting so I switched to gulp shrimp which I dragged on the bottom to countless short bites and another two landed. By 10:30 the wind was going too strong for me to keep in contact with the bottom so I went in. Final count: 4 landed, 6 came off during the fight, 1 broke the line, likely between 10-20 short bites that I failed to connect on. Overall a good day on the water.
