Redondo Parking

WOW...$2 an hour gets expensive for a long day of fishing...
I talked to Jake at Redondo Sportfishing yesterday and he says that the City has forced him to stop giving out validations ($2 for 8 hours of parking) with a purchase, since he's moved from the pier.
The lady in the parking kiosk (yea the big gal that a bunch of you guys have made fun of) was very apologetic and helpful in describing all the restaurants and stores that have validations. She says that R-3 the restaurant next to the hoist has the best deal...a $2 for 6 hrs. validation with a purchase. I'll stop by there later today and see what the minimum purchase can be to get the validation.
I guess the next step is to get in touch will Bill the new Redondo mayor through CCA CAL and see what he has to say about the new development...I'll keep you all informed on the BWE site here.

$16 was a bit steep for a day of excellent big Sandie and Calico fishing with a side of Bonito and tons of lobster bait...!

Yikes! 16 bucks! I'd be willing to pay $10 for a all day flat rate like at the sewer. $2/hr is highway robbery. Still, $16 for all that seafood! Can't beat that!

I pay $10 for 24hrs at Marina Del Rey and I thought THAT was steep...

Thanks for keeping us informed, Jim.

Is there any good news on the parking situation? My son drives down from Big Bear so it's over thirty bucks for the two vehicles.

Looks like if you don't have any validations left you are probably out of luck and are going to pay...

Well maybe the'll let us use the boardwalk launch again. That is closer to the Sport Fishing shop.
