Good Friday report

Bait everywhere. A lot of traffic but less than on the weekends. I didn't get one today but the bite came and went in about 20 min. Everyone hooked up at 7:45 or so. Saw private boats with two to three hooked at a time. Some some guys taking otw shots. Great day to be out nonetheless for me. Maybe next time.

Yup, quick flurry and it was over. Got a nice one though. They would stay up a lot longer if all those boats wouldn't drive 20+ knots over them/through the area.

Saw a nice bunch of surface action but hooked up on my bottom line instead. Same time frame.

I second that. Lots of friendly Kayakers on the water Friday, met a lot of people. Did we meet? I was in a grey Cobra out there.

I do not fear the storm as it will teach me how to sail my ship.

You think propellers scare yellowtail?! You realize the more noise you make, the more curious they become right?

Soooooo that's why they sink out most of the time if you pull up close?

Could be ... but I'll tell you one things for sure; we had a drift going with yellows blowing up 3 ft off the boat and what do you know, some dude comes flying in full speed .... good bye yellowtail.

No I hear ya man. It'll definitely put a halt to anything blowing up on the surface. Put up a dive flag next time, that should keep them off a few extra feet 😂
