Big apologies to those effected, we had a misplaced fish that shifts placement between the 5th-7th.

We had 82 sign ups this year, very respectable
Bass Division

1 Derwin Chang 9#8oz
2Joshua Romero 9#6oz and biggest bass of the day 4# 12 oz
3 Mark Randle 9# 5 oz
4 Dale Shaw 9# 4 oz
5 William Fetters 8# 15 oz
6 Danny Jones 8# 7 oz
7 Dave Easton 7# 13 oz
8 Tom Buckalew 6# 5 oz
9 Ron Sanders 6# 4 oz
10 Kyle Chang 6#
11 Will Bowen 4# 3 oz
12 Jaime Velasco 3# 3 oz
13 Andrew Vigil 3# 2 oz
14 Kyle Mctaggart 2# 13 oz
15 Aaron Hardin 2# 3 oz
16 Cameron Chang 1# 15 oz
17 Todd Jester 1# 10 oz
18 Michael Vint 1# 8oz

Halibut Division was won by Charles Wittenberg with a 22 pounder.

Hope everyone enjoyed the day. We put a nice dent in the funds needed to support our chapter of HOW for the coming year

We have some great sponsors and great volunteers to make this successful. See you all again mid April!

Thanks Sonny for taking these awards pix!

Thanks for all the hard work putting on this tournament year after year, Andy. I had the best time this year, because I got some bass large enough to weigh. First time going out the jetty that produced bass for me, and a total surprise and honor that I placed 3rd. I can't believe how close the top spots all weighed in at. That new location works well and is closer to most fishing spots. I'm with Eric on the make Spotties their own division to be fair to those that don't want to head out the jetty. Can't wait for next Mission Bay Kayak Classic.

That was another great event and I really liked the new venue. Big Thanks to Andy for all your hard work and to all the sponsors for making this yearly event possible, and all for a great cause.
The trek to the outside is always a little dicey at the mouth of the jetty but the tide, wind and swell all calmed down from the previous day and was all I needed to execute my plan. I managed to catch a total of 10 bass at the reefs and was lucky enough to pull off the win.
It’s always great to see and mingle with all the ole school kayak anglers and meet a few new guys to the sport. I look forward to next years tournament and to seeing a few of you on the Water in the meantime IMG_1805.jpgIMG_1808.jpgAttachment 1IMG_1817.jpg

WOW.....
That was another awesome Mission Bay Classic!
Congratulations to all.
Thank you Andy for once again putting on a top notch benefit tournament. We and the veterans we serve are so very grateful for your continued support.
Thank you Eric and Greg for your very generous donations.
I think the change of venue worked out great not just for the fishing but for the lunch and awards also.
Please come out to one of our monthly events to see for yourself just how easy and fun it is to enhance someone's life.

Thank you all again for enabling us to continue doing what we do!!!
