How's Seeker now since the new owner? The rod maker left and went to United Composites, now Seeker imports blanks from what I hear. Never used them, but Charkbait and others stopped carrying them, so I'm just curious on the new rods.

I had an Okuma break just like that last year. The crack / snap was loud as hell. I was left with one line guide, just enough to salvage the YT. Sad to see it happen with a Shimano.

You always manage to crack me up Jorge, happy 4th bro! Thanks for all the input, hopefully I get a replacement, although I am worried about the strength of these in the future. I mean what if I hook into a 50lb bluefin off la jolla? That rod would be toast
