Since your having a garage sale to help pay for the new ride.....
Are the pistols waterproof. I'll take those either way.

Congrats!

Cheers

They're not waterproof (obviously) but they are real. I sent pics in to some online gun guru website place and they dated them to some time in the 1800's, I believe he said they were pre-civil war.

So what were the main reasons for upgrading from the outback to the PA?

Peer pressure?

Storage space?

Dry butt and more comfortable seating?

Ability to stand up?

All of the above?

Any others?

Not at all. I had my Outback for 4years, that's longer than most marriages. I had been talking about upgrading for at least a year now and finally got a chance to do it.

Storage space?

Other than the large hatch in the front there really isn't a huge difference in storage space between the PA and the Outback. However, deck space is a different story

Dry butt and more comfortable seating?

I never really had an issue with a wet ass. I'll have to assume that the main reason for this was the fact that I removed the screw in plugs that sit right below the seat on the Outback. However, I'll have to be honest and say that the seat on the PA was the deciding factor for me. I took Tony's PA for a short, and I mean short cruise and I couldn't believe how comfortable the seat was. Additionally, being able to adjust the seat in more ways than one is a huge advantage, at least for me it is.

Ability to stand up?

Yes, not that I needed to do it very often but when you spend 8 hours on the water it's nice to be able to stand and stretch a little.

All of the above?

Yes, no and maybe so

Any others?

New kayaks are cool!!!

No and yes, or is it yes and no?

Anyway, Roby has one that he rarely uses so he's hooking me up with it.

Congrats on the new ride!
I hope the fish gods favor you with the same or better fish mojo than your Outback!
