Be careful, minimum size limit for pacific bonito is 24". I'm just saying... do you know the new legal revised size limit for calicos?

Nice calico, I got one like that yesterday. The yellow is legal but it looks like you robbed the cradle on that one.

14 for bass right?? And I didn't keep the bonito. And yes I did learn 5 under 24" is the limit.

How is the minimum size limit 24" for bonito. Everyone on peirs keep bonito far less than that. Even 1/2 day boats keep 300+ tiny 8inchers. Or does fish and game just not care?

Technically you are allowed 10 over 24".
Or 5 below 24" and 5 over.

And if you chunk it for lobster or chum the pieces cant be identified so each piece is a sub 24".

According to that chart, 5 are allowed to be under 24". Sorry, just adding to the confusion. You're allowed 5 bonito under 24 for bait. Plus 5 over 24 if you decide to keep. That's how I interpret it. Although as soon as you lose a bait, you're allowed another haha.
