Epic conditions but no current, no birds, and no fish. Rounded up some smelt in the kelp and drug them around the edge and some of the deeper spots without a touch. Pod of dolphins charging thru was the highlight. Divers reported seeing nothing good.

Back at it tonight.

Thanks for the PM reports Brad.

I was out yesterday AM. Small surf, only small bait at the pier, no wind until around 10am or so then exceedingly strong wind from the south. I had what I assume was my first WSB by the tentative bite and strong pull, but I got too anxious and let my noobishness shine when I pulled the hook free from the still tied knot in my flourocarbon.

Well maybe Thursday AM, I will be blessed with a second chance!

The second best part of the night for me . Best part was enjoying a nice beer after work in perfect weather.
