My Hands smell like fish...

... and I like it.

Launch 5:30 - Land 8:00am
2 YT (bait)
8 Cudas (1 bait / 7 iron)
3 Bones (iron)
2 Bass (iron)

Loaded the tank with Greens.
Circle hooks kick ass.
Went short.

New type of lines, new type of knots, new type of hooks. Removing all the variables that could go wrong.

Nice ones afran.....went short as well for the same results, one on iron one on a greenie and one came off in the kelp. Iron fish came underneath a boil of festering bonies. At grey/dawn, the area straight west of the point before you can see point loma had boiling bones in all directions. I was chucking the Salas 6X Jr, and I started to see some yellows mixed in, rolling on the surface and boiling in many small groups. Many had yellows, multiples, and I saw and heard of some up to 20# Like Afran said, load the tank, the pencils and bonies were on em. Once again, stoked!

Here are some pix and vids of the release......

The boneys did put on a show this morning with all the surface activity. I could not get my bait or iron past them to get to the "right kind". I did c/r a new personal best calico (on a spanish), 6lbs on my spring scale, I was shocked that it was a calico when I brought it to color, as it was stripping out line on my 30 lb rig. I drizzled heavy for most of the morning, hence the soggy looking pic.
