Launched around 7am for the fish with friends tournament run by Dana Point Kayak and Jet Ski.

Fished Silverwood Lake for the first time on Thursday with Landwhale. We got there just after 6 am behind a hand full of boaters. We had high hopes of stripers, but never found one to bite. Got the chance to fish Barrett and jumped on the ticket. There was a little bit of weather with cloud cover the entire day. I found the water level 10-15ft lower than at closing time last season. It's great to get a visual on all the structure that is typically underwater.
