no work this summer up here! heading to baja for a month or so in a few weeks to help a buddy install a pv setup at his house on the east cape. should be back late july. we'll have to get out and fish!

Wow - did see this until today. Someone showed me the way to the kelp beds - which isn't hard to miss, we tried for bait, couldn't get that, used frozen squid, frozen chovies, some scented stuff - I got nothin, the other guy got a small sculpin. Later I trolled outside of the kelp, got a large mack, and then a smaller one. Tied the smaller on one, but got nothing. Called it a day and rolled it good on the way in at the beach - oh well. My next planned time out is Sept. 11 for the memorial tournament. I don't expect to win anything, but should be good to go out with a big group.

Uh oh - I see 3 skunks now. But I think you should be at 2 - if I caught the calico, I wouldn't have counted that as a skunk. I'm still getting ready for Saturday. Will you be out there? I'm thinking mid morning 9-10am. Need sleep.
