Dave,
Interested in going Thresher fishing tomorrow (Tues) from boat? Plan to swing by LJ to make some macs and then head to upper 9. They're pretty thick there right now. Plan to release - just going to feel a little tug (well, 100-300 lb tug) on the line and inshore fishing is kind of slow from what I've heard. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Dave-
It was great talking with you again this morning. I did manage to get through that surf and back again safely. Liked having the fins already installed and pinned to the belly. Since the leash is elastic you can still peddle and they will return to the "flat" position when you stop. My trip was a huge success...I caught my first fish from a kayak...big green mackerel. There were tons of them to be had out there and I pinned on about a 14" monster and let it tow me around for awhile. Couldnt believe how long it stayed healthy. Tried a little yo'yo' too but didnt come up with anything. Ended the day around 2:30 playing with the huge schools of Mack. Still stoked I was able to make bait...baby steps.
Anyway, I would love to join you sometime if you ever get the chance. I can keep up, follow directions and learn fast. I am excited to have the opportunity to learn from one of the best.
Keep me in mind.
Take care,
Brett Woodward
