Sea World rescues and then rehabilitates the pups and then sets them free.
You feed and train them and then Sea World catches them and puts them in their shows. :D My personal opinion is that no one should ever intentionally hurt any animal unless they plan to eat it or it is planning on eating them. SIMPLE!!! |
@Driftwood.
Sure do. You need to read my post from Yesterday, 02:40 PM in this very thread......here it is; Originally Posted by Pinhead http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/i...s/viewpost.gif The U.S. Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) protects all marine mammals, including cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises), pinnipeds (seals and sea lions), sirenians (manatees and dugongs), sea otters, and polar bears within the waters of the United States. Just sayin'..... All I am advocating is protecting yourself from a seal however you can, if they get sideways on you. |

Mike.......you talk simple....me like....... The whole thing with putting hot sauce in a bait and feeding it to seals........ Likelihood of it doing anything is very minimal...except to cause discomfort to an animal. There is no chance that a sea lion will connect the discomfort of hot sauce with a bait fish it ate hours earier. How is the sea lion supposed to know that one of the dozens of macs he ate today causes painful poop? Quit hurting innocent animals to get your kicks. But...but...he took my Mac........ohhhh...cry me a river..... |

Seal pup: Mom it hurts when I poop. Seal mom: Did you eat those spicy macks again? You never listen |
Yea don't feed them buggers. First they are cute and you give them a little taste, then they get bolder and are in your face, then one day after they got you pegged for a free meal they slam you for $3000 for a plastic tub and another $300 for a water bucket. :D
