Western Australia - Gnaraloo Station

Heya All, been a while since my last vid, i recently returned from Gnaraloo (Pronounced Narloo) Station for a trip, about 1200km north of Pert, had an amazing week up there, and managed a few decent fish. Heres a 2 part video report, and hopefully an insight into North West WA for you US crew!

Enjoy!

Very cool. Thanks for the post. Looked like you through everything back but the last one. Kangaroo steaks for dinner? Stoked on the adventure island setup too.

Thanks All, was a crackin trip. Threw most fish back, kept a Spangled Emporer for dinner every night tho, so ate well for the week.

The Adventure Island is a beast, tho last day threw in onto the reef after a hot session on 10kg Spanish Mackeral, getting caught changing a rudder pin just off one of the bigger bombies, a few 10' sets later, and i caught up with it after losing the Go Pro, a trolling outfit, assorted accesories, smashed the rudder off, and destroyed the drive, lost a bit of bark too. Paddled it the 3km back to base...

Gnaraloo is a hot spot for the Kiteboarders, Sailboarders and Surfers, has many large breaks, one in particular called Tombstones just south of the camp, nasty stuff in a big swell. Bloody magic up there tho, great part of the world.

Wow...incredible fishery ya got there, looks like you fish pretty shallow in the first vid?

The beach camping scene, you are just killing us here...we have to go to a foreign country to enjoy that, wish we could do something like that around here.

Keep 'em coming, you make me want to be there...
