I'd suggest a Mad Frog Gear Liberator with a Scotty mount. Easy to set up before fishing and you can quickly get the transducer out of the water when needed. Here's mine on my old Manta. Now I'm using the track system with my T140 to mount it. Speaking of track systems, Maybe a Yak Attack Gear Trac with the Liberator?

The sail mount is a little too far forward for you to easily press the buttons on the screen. Yes, some people can reach there but unless you have some kind of an extension to make it come towards you the side mount is easier access. Many guys will mount a small ram ball on the side just in front of the built in rod holder. You still want to be able to paddle and jump into and out of your yak during surf launches.

With respect to others that use the Mad Frog, I tried it and did not like it. Too much crap/ kelp gets hung up on it. I want less things to worry about on my yak, not more. The fact that you get a "perfect" water temp....well will it really change your fishing if you are 2 degrees off?

Good luck.
