I fish both the Daiwa sealine x reels and the avets...LOVE the Avets for their strength and precision, especially in a small size filled with #65 spectra. Have fished this set-up on tuna trips over and over and and caught many yellowtail off La Jolla...it's been bullet proof, but the kayak is hard on them and makes the reel a bit "sticky" if not well maintained. The Daiwas, on the other hand, have been dunked over and over again, hosed down at home and they come right back for more without a hint of problems...so my set-up is a 20 size Daiwa for bass and sabiki fishing, a 40 size for throwing iron and live bait rigging with weight, and the small avet with spectra for my fly line trolling rod.
