kid, you're a brute force...
what are you using for yellows, 200# test?

Those little Calcuttas are sweet.

When I mess with calicos, I use my sabiki rod, regular lighter rod. Got 12-15# test, mono. I like it as I can cast rubber far away, work the stringers. Can be fun fishing with a lot of action in the summer especially. As calicos wiggle and you keep the pressure on the fish, they mostly seem to work their way out of the weeds; lighter line is fine. Little suspended anchovy can be a poison for them, hard to get on a yak though.
