working class fish

Well now that the season is officially over since the squid boats are gone because the squid left town and took all the fish with them I guess its safe to post a report.
My hats off to those who have their life arranged so that they can spend lots of time on the water, scope out the area and consistently catch the big fish. I'm a bit envious to say the least. But the cool thing is they are willing to share tips and tricks with us part timers who have to fish around our 9-5 schedule.
So to slip in some sea time, I start with setting the alarm to a reasonable hour:

Then make a hearty breakfast, two over easy:

Head to the launch, hit the water and whip out the magic squid jig. This jig fills up the tank in record time:

After checking out the reports and tips from the pros, I pick the zone, select 'the spot' and start the hunt.

Game is on, game is over, sun rises and looks like I'll make that 9 o'clock meeting after all.

So even us working stiffs can get white meat on the table.
