Old Man and the Sea? Required reading. Have a couple First Editions, so does Clay... Hooked; Pirates, Poaching and the Perfect Fish (how the Chilean Sea Bass got its name) The Secret Life of Lobsters The Hungry Ocean: A Swordboat Captain's Journey (this will shock the MLPA kooks) Adrift? I agree, required reading... Or for local fishing tips and techniques, the other posts have nailed it.

Kon Tiki is another great ocean adventure. Not specifically about fishing, but a ton of great fishing none the less.
