Evening session last night was plugged with bait. Smelt and brownies all over, had one encounter with a

out deep away from all the surface bait, but it didn't stick.

I hit a thick patch of greenies last night and still wasn't able to pull anything other than macks and calicoes out of it. You know how people get lethargic when it's hot out? Well, I think the fish are on the front porch in their rocking chairs, sipping iced tea, and not real interested in what we put in front of them. Jerks.
