Well, the PA 14 is only 38" wide and it paddles ok if you use a longer paddle AND learn how to steer and lean. BTW it carries a lot of fish, nice this time of year.

The boat is huge but not impossible to paddle as it is the same hull as the Big Tuna.
Werner Paddles is now making paddles in a 250cm size to meet the needs of these new wider boats and higher seats. The industry is changing and going in this direction for most boats. I wouldnt be surprised to see some cool new boats for our market in the next year ot 2 though. |
