An empty milk jug with a glowstick inside works great, as do detergent bottles/juice containers. Dont worry if the plastic is colored as long as its not too thick they give off plenty of light to be visible. Just zip tie them to the your line.

With those clear containers, make sure that the glo stick is visible above waterline.
