The number of wardens is shrinking all the time. They have to play the odds in their favor and create income for the department if they want to keep their jobs. it is this type of mentality that gets me maddd!!!! there always seems to be a double standard in play. the politicians get to do what ever they want and we the people get to pay for their policies.
so what happens if we don't pay for these citations or our annual fishing license. would we be lumped into the dead beats who can't pay?????? WTF

Its pretty simple.....don't break the rules and you will not get cited. When I was a private boater I was boarded by the USCG, the DFG and the Sheriffs Dept more times that I'd like to count. Everytime they searched and searched and searched and nothing illegal popped up. Registration, drivers license, fishing license, insurance card, fishing/hooping gear, safety devices safety gear and attitude were in order.
I was on a first name basis with at least one DFG Officer, he treated me with respect and I gave them same in return, had he been a d*ck with me I would have killed him with kindness. Regardless of whether you're in the streets or on the water, keep your ducks in a row and each experience will be pleasant......just my $.02
