Adi, I have been back a few times to get another look too. I am guessing well over 40, more towards 50ish.

Hold the presses, just noticed the shadow at the bottom lol.

Nah...

But I must say - we estimated more, we were convinced she was over 40. Huge head and tail, loooong... But not too wide.

Sure looks over 40 on the pic, and it wasn't even too much of a Josh style photography... Just a lil'...

She weighed 38#, beating my previous pb for only 1/2 lbs.

Still...

I don't see a gaff hole. Was it a melon shot? Plus, Sitting on the rail that close to the water with no game clip or rope thu it's gills is dangerous.
Nice fish. Reminds me of a guy that only had a few minutes left in a tourney to get one to the scales.
