Just in case anyone did'nt know already, this unit will be $549.97 after rebate. Original price $749.99 - on sale for $649.97. The sale price(+tax) is what you will pay in store. You have to mail in the rebate by 2/12/12. It is definitely worth it as you can take the $200 you save and get yourself the Fish-n-chip. Then you'd have a salt & freshwater monster.

Good deal, but if you are going to "invest" in the HDS-5 West Marine will match the price...then get the extended warranty for piece of mind...
it is a great unit...
