i want to go this weekend, but if you go with me we wont catch anything. i'm the day after guy, the bite always kicks off and ends the day before i go.

I'm up for DP early Saturday morning, if I get my Suburban back from the shop in time. Which might not be likely (due to them removing the whole engine

), but I should know by Friday...

I could use some Esprit de Corps....

It's a No-Go for me. I will be without a car for at least another week....going on three.

The good news is I don't have to pay the $5,000+ to fix it.

@dc1983 I have PTSD from surf launch. Is there another way to get out there?

Yea if you launch at the rec beach on base it's usually pretty calm maybe .5-2 foot swells that never actual break. Maybe a mile paddle to the kelp from there or we can go south to the power plant
