Even if it floats I would recommend adding a leash to it, the last thing you want to hapen is to not know you dropped it in the water and it floats away. I don't have a floating radio but I've dropped it in the water twice in the last couple of month, saved by a leash.

Excellent point, if you don't want to lose it, leash it. Even if the radio is a floating or not, you should put a leash on it. Many of us learn this the hard way. My first radio popped off when I was getting bait from the bait receiver in San Diego.

The Radio comes with a water proof sleeve with a leash on it. The sleeve alone cost me $20
