9/26 Hellbent for halibut.......pointage!!! - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Just got off the water and had to run to work. Will post pics when I get home. My encounter was with a 60lb black sea bass. Got him in 35ft off the pier on the only fat sardine we managed. Fought for about 20min, ending in 75ft. Was out with my friend Eric from NY. We didn't manage anything else besides a small ling and a sand dab. Guess we zigged when we should have zagged out there by Andy, but the rest of the day was SLOW! Trying again tomorrow AM, with essentially the same game plan.
