I'm curious too!
Would it be a good idea to fish it this Saturday if it rains on Friday?
Is the "wall" the one that connects to shore or the stand alone break wall further out? I'd live to try it this Saturday. Although if my 10 yr old son comes with me in his mini-x, I might not get as far as the outer wall!
How's fishing the wall that goes into alamitos bay? Is it best to park and launch from 72nd pl??

I only launched inside LAB cause I was alone. I wouldnt have enough muscle to carry my yak over that sand wall next to the jetty. So I launched at 69th St.

Check the weather conditions for that day, winds, swells, tide changes, etc.

Best results for fishing the Wall is during an incoming/outgoing tide cause of the current. It pushes the fish around out of their homes.

And it is the stand alone wall, the inner wall produces bass, but the outter side of the wall hold lots of other species!

It is a good 30min paddle for the average man. Est 1.5-2 miles from shore.

Thanks! Good info here! I'm assuming you fish the wall from inside of the harbor?
