the prefered location for me would be centrally located on the bow where the V is narrowest. The other options would be
a little off to either side or right below the seat where the transducer fits inside the V. Good looking Jim. Does your 'ducer rest on both sides of the channel with water separating the 'ducer from the hull in the middle?

I mounted mine in the narrows and its works fine. just make sure its sits level in the hull not tiltin up or down. and goop it good
