So the 50# kayak yt club now has three members. Larry, Arne, and now Dave. What is the LJ record for boaters? I heard a rumor the spearo record at LJ is 60#. Anyone have any hard data on either of those other records?

And congrats again Dave. This is about the 5th time I've checked this post just to look at those unreal pics . That thing looks photoshopped in your lap becuase the proportions are all wrong.

51.5 by Mot's Sr. just north of LJ. I have a pic but it would be rude to put on his thread.

Awesome fish!! Being able to get out and catch a yellow is an accomplishment in itself, but to get out and land a 50# yellow,....totally awe inspiring. Thanks for the post and picture . Seeing is definitely believing .
