This is the one I have used many times with no issues with flow or anything. I think many of the bait tanks use this type of pump. I have seen some using 360GPH but for the most part this one

If you install a spray head that you can control the amount of spray you can cut down the flow, but also think of this. Dines use a lot of Oxygen and the water needs to be circulate well for them to stay alive. Most will use timers to control the inflow so that the pump is not always going. Trust me the 500GPH pump is worth it and at walmart is often only about $20 on it's own.

I built a pump/water proof batery box set up like 8 years ago that finally bit the dust. I needed a cheap replacement quick so went to home depo and bought a 36" hand piston pump. I thought I'd use it only until I got my electric system rebuilt but it was so simple and worked so well I just kept using it. At 4 strokes to the gallon just a few strokes every few minutes keeps the bait fine. Not sugesting every one go to this low tech but as a back up for when you forget to put your battery on the charger or go to baja when you can't charge a battery it is an option. You should have a hand pump on you yak any way. Mike
