How do the ones on the stealth models prime them selves? I got the same one, the tsunami 500 running off a 12v

On the Stealths the pump is mounted below the waterline. No need to prime.

I dont quite understand theres is through the cut out in the hual and mine is through the scupper hole below the waterline but does that mean the while pump needs to be submerged? If that then i need a over the side pump

the impeller needs to be below the waterline or you could add a pick up tube like Hobie uses. A little forward momentum is all you need to force water up to impeller. Once primed it should stay primed.
