in a sense, basic electrical isnt far from plumbing. aside from complex cicuitry, one can view voltage as pressure in a pipe, current would be like the flow rate and the pipe size the is sort of like resistance. way better than i could ever explain here. http://science.howstuffworks.com/env...uestion501.htm
