Congrats to your son on his first fish!
I was out there yesterday as well, like you said there were quite a few out other kayak fisherman out there. I ended the day with one sandy and a calico. Both were a bit skinny so I let them go to fatten up for next time. Caught the sandy on a green back mackerel and the calico on a big hammer swimbait. Maybe ill see you out there next weekend. |

I started out about 9am but I went south instead of north, pretty much the same as for the bite. Managed one 14" Calico and about the same sized Sandie. Around 4pm I was debating heading in and decided to stick it out and see if God would surprise me. He did...
And BTW, check out the hook I was using, some of you guys will recognize it...
