Nice collection, thanks for sharing. I caught several whitefish last year but hadn't heard they were that good so I released them. That won't happen again after reading this thread!

I see a lot of whitefish fishing Channel Islands. The bigger ones put up a good fight more fun than the rockfish that make up majority of catches.

Been told they make great ceviche. I've used it mostly in stew and risotto.
