Yeah, this may be a fun one way trip. The winds would usually push you in the right direction. It's just a matter of arranging car shuttles.

Get it organized.

We can unload the kayaks at cabrilo and have someone stay there then go park the cars at the drop off point and have one or two cars go back to cabrillo and start the trek down. How about we do this in May?

Theres parking by belmont pier but they open at 8. Any insight on parking landwhale and Ed?

I think you should really reconsider your route, crossing LB harbor might not be the best place to try a Paddle fest, when is Memorial day again? There was some talk of Dana Point to San clem maybe dig up that thread, or try a Cherry or Seal beach to Bolsa. Im all for long distance fishing and have done the two oil platforms off of dog beach in HB but that took lots of planning and we had a support boat in hunting Harbor come get us when we were half way in, we probably did close to 14 miles for some sandbass and cuda!

Would there be too much boat traffic in the harbor? That dana to clemente trip is on another forum they did 11 miles on that trip. Or we can do another ultimate halibut trip around the oil islands. Maybe a trip around PV?
