LMAO...not sure if this is the case with your tank. I have a Hobie live well too...I went fishing one weekend and rinsed everything really well at the end of the day. Went to work Monday morning and when I came home that evening and opened the garage, a raunchy fish smell hit me...I searched everywhere...then it dawned on me to look in the rod holder. There it was....an anchovy must have jumped out of my tank and was in the bottom of the rod holder....rinsed it out and the smell was gone.
