Sad truth #27:
After any unusual event, the first person to get on TV predicting it presages a major disaster is the winner. Nobody will remember when nothing happens, but the sage will be lauded to high heaven if something does. (If he/she is ever confronted about nothing happening, he/she need only smile enigmatically and say "Yet.") |
